The Mirror

An empty home lives
Inside my mirror there
Where amidst old dead effects
I meet an empty me.

Only there on that wall
I see our old frame left
Smiling at each other eons ago
Where I once lived.

My mirror laughs back
As I look on in despair
For my frame still has you in it
Unlike an empty me.
