Midnight Poetry

From your closing eyes
When a solitary drop rolls out
In adventures of its own.

My kisses mark your heart
As thirsty touches explore you
And a seed tonight is sown.

A thousand barren lives
Have held us apart this long
But we will rain tonight.

From those silent eyes
When that lone drop rolls down
Our poetry begins midnight.
