The Tiffin Box

I carried her love for him in me
That woke her up with the sun
And wait for me when he returned.

A strange love I thought at times
Where no words ever crossed the two
Only a praise when I crossed hands.

I wonder what happened that day
When he laid unmoved on that road
Before they brought me back to her.

No long she wakes with the sun
Yet never I see her closing those eyes
As she holds me crying all night.

No long I see him but in that frame
That she looks at all day long for
A man she loved who never returned.
