The Old Forgotten Park

It rains again tonight
As she walks down that road
To meet her love
In an old forgotten park.

She sits on that bench
Where their story had begun
Once upon a time
In an old forgotten park.

She feels the broken wood
In a silent vow to return again
When it rained
In an old forgotten park.

To keep an old promise
Which never slipped their lips
But still remained
In an old forgotten park.
